Payment Schedule

Standard Plans -Three (3) sets $300.00 (OLD VIRGINIA LOG HOMES customers only)

Custom Plans -Drawing fee is a minimum of $600.00. Final cost will depend on the size and complexity of the plan.


* Our production schedule is strictly on a first come, first served basis. (Except in case of fire or flood.)

* No house will be placed into the production schedule lineup until the deposit is received at headquarters.

* Minimum deposit is $2,500 or 10% of the purchase price.

* A cutting fee of 40% of the Erected Log Package must be received 30 days prior to delivery of logs.

* Balance is due on delivery of log package.

* If financing is being arranged through your bank, we will accept a letter of commitment from the bank for the cutting fee. However, the total amount owed to OLD VIRGINIA HAND-HEWN LOG HOMES, INC.,  is due and payable in full when the logs are delivered to your site.

* OLD VIRGINIA has never required cashiers checks.
